ZonePerfect Fudge Graham Bars recalled
Abbott is voluntarily recalling one lot of their ZonePerfect Fudge Graham Bars due to the presence of foreign material, specifically hard plastic pieces, according to a Department of Defense All Food and Drug Activity message sent March 29.
There is a potential risk of choking or physical injury to the soft tissues of the mouth or gastrointestinal tract of a consumer using the product who may not see the foreign material.
The Defense Commissary Agency has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Richard Stith, chief, public health division, DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has recalled or withdrawn products in its inventory, they are immediately removed from store shelves.
The following product is affected by this recall:
- ZonePerfect Fudge Graham Bar, 1.76 ounces (50 grams): Bar UPC: 6 38102 20309 0 or Carton UPC: 6 38102 20310 6 both with Lot number 47691B800
No illness or injury has been reported. Customers should return this product to the commissary of purchase for a full refund.
