Starbucks canned Doubleshot Espresso & Cream recalled
The North American Coffee Partnership is voluntarily recalling specific lots of Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso & Cream canned 4-pack products because of a potential issue with the can seals, according to a recall notice from the Defense Commissary Agency’s food safety office sent Nov. 2.
The Defense Commissary Agency has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Richard Stith, chief, public health division, DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has recalled or withdrawn products in its inventory, they are immediately removed from store shelves.
The following product is affected by this recall:
- Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso, Espresso & Cream, 6.5 ounce each, four-pack: Pack UPC 012000104510 and can UPC 012000001772 with a manufacturing date of Aug. 27 or 28 and a lot/expiration code of March 28, 2022
The products can further be identified by a “MA” designation in the lot code on the label. No other Starbucks products are affected by this recall.
Customers should return this product to the commissary of purchase for a full refund.
