Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps recalled
Baptista's Bakery Inc. is voluntarily recalling a limited number of Snack Factory Original Pretzel Crisps because they may contain undeclared milk ingredients, according to a recall notice from the Defense Commissary Agency's food safety office sent Aug. 24.
The Defense Commissary Agency has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Richard Stith, the lead consumer safety officer for DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has a recalled or withdrawn product in its inventory, the product is immediately removed from store shelves.
The following product is affected by this recall:
- Snack Factory Original Pretzel Crisps, 7.2 ounce: UPC 049508006008 with a "best by" date of July 1, 2017.
No other Snack Factory Original Pretzel Crisps products or sizes are affected by this recall and no illnesses have been reported to date.
Those with milk allergies run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product.
Customers who purchased these products at the commissary should return them for a full refund.
