‘More Savings Exclusively for You’ featured in Commissary Sales Flyers for Dec. 18 - 31

FORT GREGG-ADAMS, Va. – As the new year approaches, the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is ramping up to bring even more cost savings to patrons worldwide with its “More Savings Exclusively for You” sales flyer for Dec. 18-31. As part of these holiday deals, commissaries continue to offer sale prices on select turkeys for just 69 cents per pound with no minimum purchase through Dec. 31, while supplies last.

Looking to add a new main course to your holiday meal? Commissaries have two great fresh meat selections on sale: USDA choice bone-in rib roast at $13.94 per pound and boneless pork loin whole at $2.24 per pound.* Round out the main course meal with russett potatoes or navel oranges on sale Dec. 21-24.

The joy of cooking this holiday season is also made easier through DeCA’s  “Settle into the Season with Traditions” online holiday guide. The interactive guide offers delicious recipes for your virtual shopping cart, and includes turkey roasting times, turkey rub ideas and ways to reinvent leftovers.

Customers also can further their commissary savings with the Your Everyday Savings (YES!) Program. YES! offers extra savings and value on products customers buy most. Look for the orange YES! label on store shelves.

DeCA’s “Thinking Outside the Box” (TOTB) recipe for the period is Quick and Easy Chicken Posole. Thinking Outside the Box recipes are dietitian-approved, quick and economical solutions for home-cooked meals. Customers can save even more on the items listed in these recipes.

More opportunities to save are available through the Pathway to Savings – “Instant Savings, Buy One, Get One (BOGO) Free” deals, and Commissary Rewards Card digital coupons. DeCA has also made shopping even easier with its Commissary CLICK2GO mobile app. Customers can access the online payment/curbside pickup service, digital coupons, the sales flyer, dietitian-approved recipes and much more. The mobile app is free for download through the Google Play and IOS app stores.
