L'Oreal Paris withdraws hair color due to customer dissatisfaction
L'Oreal Paris is voluntarily withdrawing Preference Lightest Natural Blonde hair color due to customer dissatisfaction, according to a letter from the company sent May 10.
The Defense Commissary Agency has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Christopher Wicker, a public health advisor for DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has a recalled or withdrawn product in its inventory, the product is immediately removed from store shelves.
The following product is impacted by this recall:
- L'Oreal Paris Preference Lightest Natural Blonde Shade 9.5NB: UPC: 0-71249-25330-4, Batch Code – 70N200.
The hair color was produced on or about Feb. 7.
L'Oreal Paris is withdrawing the product solely due to customer reports of dissatisfaction with the color result. L'Oreal Paris has tested the product to ensure that the product is safe for use.
Customers who purchased any of these products at the commissary should bring them back for a refund.
