Hot Pockets recalled due to incorrect product code
Nestle USA is voluntarily recalling two varieties of Hot Pockets because the consumer packages were labelled with the incorrect UPC code according to a recall notice from the Defense Commissary Agency's food safety office sent Nov. 11. There are no health or safety concerns with these products.
DeCA has publicized the updated information to all its stores, said Richard Stith, the lead consumer safety officer for DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has a recalled product in its inventory, the product is immediately removed from store shelves.
The following products are affected by this recall:
- Hot Pocket Hickory Ham & Cheddar, 12 count, 54 ounce: UPC on package: 43755883
- Hot Pocket Premium Pepperoni Pizza, 12 count, 54 ounce: UPC on package: 43755885
Customers may return this product to the commissary of purchase for a full refund. No other Hot Pocket brand products are included in this recall.
