Fresh Success salsa seasoning mix recalled
Concord Foods, LLC is voluntarily recalling a specific date code of its Concord Fresh Success Mild Salsa Seasoning Mix because it may contain an undeclared milk allergen, according to a recall notice from the Defense Commissary Agency’s food safety office sent Feb. 20. Those with milk allergies run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product.
The Defense Commissary Agency has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Richard Stith, lead consumer safety officer for DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has recalled or withdrawn products in its inventory, they are immediately removed from store shelves.
The following product is affected by this recall:
- Concord Fresh Success Mild Salsa Seasoning Mix, 1.06 ounces: “Best by” date code of 071121
There are no reports of illness to date and no other Concord Fresh Success products, varieties or “best by” dates are included in this recall. Customers should return this product to the commissary of purchase for a full refund.
