Freedom’s Choice Italian Dressing recalled
The Defense Commissary Agency is voluntarily recalling one size of their Freedom’s Choice Italian Dressing, due to swelling of the product creating bloated bottles, according to a recall notice from the Defense Commissary Agency’s food safety office sent May 28.
The Defense Commissary Agency has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Richard Stith, Chief, Public Health Division, DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has recalled or withdrawn products in its inventory, they are immediately removed from store shelves.
The following product is affected by this recall:
- Freedom’s Choice Italian Dressing, 16 ounces: UPC: 8 42798 10265 with “best by” dates of Oct. 23, Dec. 12 and Jan. 14, 2021
Customers should return the product to the commissary of purchase for a full refund.
