Franz Family Bakeries Pub Buns recalled
Franz Family Bakeries is voluntarily recalling specific Pub Bun products because they may contain soy allergens according to a recall notice from the Defense Commissary Agency’s food safety office sent July 18.
Those with soy allergies run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product.
Defense Commissary Agency has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Richard Stith, lead consumer safety officer for DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has recalled or withdrawn products in its inventory, they are immediately removed from store shelves.
The following products with “best by” dates of July 3, 5-7, 9-10, 12-14, 16-17, 19-21, 23-24, 26-28 and 30-31 are affected by this recall:

Seattle Sourdough Baking Company Pub Buns, 6 count, 16 ounces: UPC 072220101645 and Item number 74549

Franz Premium Pub Buns, 12 count, 32 ounces: UPC 072220702187 and Item number 74554
Customers should return this product to the commissary of purchase for a full refund.
