Capri Sun Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink recalled
Kraft Heinz is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of its Capri Sun Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink Blend beverage products because diluted cleaning solution may have been introduced into the product’s production line, according to a Department of Defense All Food and Drug Activity message sent Aug. 15.
The Defense Commissary Agency has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Richard Stith, chief, public health division, DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has recalled or withdrawn products in its inventory, they are immediately removed from store shelves.
The following product is affected by this recall:
- Capri Sun Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink Blend, 6.6 ounces: Carton UPC 0 8768400100 4 with a “best by” date of June 25, 2023 with:
- Pouch manufacturer code of 25JUN2023 WXX LYY #### where:
- “XX” equals 01, 02, 03, 04, 09, or 10
- “YY” equals 01 through 12
- “####” equals 0733 through 0900
- OR Carton manufacturer code of 25JUN2023 WXX #### CT1404 where:
- “XX” equals 01, 02, or 03
- “####” equals 0733 through 1000
- Pouch manufacturer code of 25JUN2023 WXX LYY #### where:
No other code dates are affected by this recall.
Customers should return this product to the commissary of purchase for a full refund.
