Specific lots of 7up Zero Sugar 12 pack cans recalled
The Defense Commissary Agency is implementing a voluntary internal recall on specific lots of 7up Zero Sugar 12 pack can products because they may contain levels of sulfites above labeling limits, according to a recall notice from the Defense Commissary Agency’s food safety office sent Oct. 19.
The affected product was distributed in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Commissary locations that were impacted are Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio; Pittsburgh Area, Pa.; NSB Kings Bay, Ga.; NS Mayport, Fla. and NAS Jacksonville, Fla.
The Defense Commissary Agency has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Richard Stith, Chief, Public Health Division, DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has recalled or withdrawn products in its inventory, they are immediately removed from store shelves.
The following product is affected by this recall:
- 7up Zero Sugar, 12-ounce cans in 12 pack: Case UPC 7800001181 with code date H1217 CB3W and can code of 0780790
Customers should return these products to the commissary of purchase for a full refund.
