Pictsweet Farms Steam’ables Baby Brussels Sprouts recalled
The Pictsweet Company is voluntarily recalling specific Pictsweet Farms Steam’ables Baby Brussels Sprouts because they may contain milk and soy allergens, according to a Department of Defense All Food and Drug Activity message sent July 17. Butter sauce, containing milk and soy allergens, was included in the product but were not declared on the packaging.
Those with dairy or soy allergies run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product.
Defense Commissary Agency has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Richard Stith, lead consumer safety officer for DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has recalled or withdrawn products in its inventory, they are immediately removed from store shelves.

Pictsweet Farms Steam’ables Baby Brussels Sprouts, 12 ounces: UPC 0 70560 97731 9 with production codes beginning with “1508K” and a “best if used by” date of May 30, 2020.
There have been no reported illnesses to date and no other Pictsweet Farms products are affected by this recall. Customers should return this product to the commissary of purchase for a full refund.
